La Marcha de los Escritores 2026

Bienvenidos de vuelta la Marcha de los Escritores. Al igual que el año pasado, estaremos compartiendo los temas temprano para que tengas tiempo para planificar, prepararte, pensar y probablemente darle largas al asunto hasta el último momento. Para los que son nuevos a la fiesta, la Marcha de los Escritores es una tradición en donde se proveen 31 temas para los 31 días del mes de marzo para conectar con nuestros lectores. Cómo desarrollas cada tema lo determinas tú y sólo hay dos reglas: mantén el respeto a los demás y diviértete. 

 

¿Quieres hacer entradas semanales con todos los temas de la semana? Date gusto. ¿Quieres hacer un video a diario? Me parece bien. ¿Quieres incluir los temas en tu podcast? Me gusta como suena eso. Este esfuerzo tendrá temas que te regalo, ahora lo que haces es totalmente tuyo. Sólo intento darte inspiración y que te lo disfrutes.

Y ya, listo, sin más preámbulo…los temas de la Marcha de los Escritores 2026:

 

1.        ¿Alo, quién habla?

¿Quién eres? ¿Qué has escrito? ¿Qué has hecho? ¿Qué harás? ¿Dónde vives? Esta es tu introducción así que aprovecha, ponte las pilas, arréglate, ponte tus medias favoritas y demuéstrale a la gente por qué eres un rockstar. 

 

2.        A manera de género

Algunas personas, como este servidor, le encanta explorar una variedad de géneros literarios mientras otros AMAN su camino elegido y quieren desempeñarse en un género casi exclusivamente. ¿En qué género/s escribes y por qué esos géneros? ¿Qué te llaman de esos géneros literarios?

 

3.        Portadas con porte

Pocas falacias son más ciertas que la de no juzgar un libro por su portada. CLARO que las personas juzgan los libros por sus portadas. Para mí, siento un orgullo inmenso de mis obras y las colaboraciones que he podido tener con artistas y esta es la perfecta oportunidad para darle cariño a esas estrellas de diseño que te han dado la mano en el camino. 

 

4.        En dónde estás y a dónde vas

Hay personas que están tan organizadas que dan miedo. Hay otros que van con la corriente y todo parece alinearse. Ahora, a menudo, no estamos ni conscientes DÓNDE estamos en nuestro trayecto literario, sea porque estamos haciendo todo lo posible por mantenernos a flote o porque no nos hacemos preguntas importantes. Así que llegó el momento de tomar un respiro y preguntarte: ¿dónde estás y hacia dónde vas? No hay contestaciones incorrectas. Y ¿quién sabe? A lo mejor sabes exactamente dónde estar y a lo mejor tus lectores te ven en otro lugar y te aclararán lo bien que lo vas haciendo.

 

5.        Tu cuento de origen.

La mayoría de los héroes de los comics saben cómo y cuándo se crearon. Danos tu cuento de origen.

 

6.        Tribu Escritoresca 

La Marcha de los Escritores tiene varios temas recurrentes y aunque el acto de escribir es a menudo solitario porque lo requiere, tenemos apoyo de mucho y conectamos con decenas de personas. Cuéntanos de alguna de esa gente en tu tribu y puntos de bono si tienes videos o fotos de tu tribu. 

 

7.        Sintonizado o a modo silencioso (MOTW PLAYLIST)

La música amansa a las fieras, aunque para mí, también la enciende y es esencial para mi proceso de escribir. Por años he ido recopilando música para tener un playlist de todos los géneros para que las personas lo puedan escuchar entero o tomar de él los tracks que conecten. SIEMPRE me encanta compartir las riquezas de la música así que si tienes artistas que faltan en la lista, compártelos o comparte tu propio playlist. 

 

8.        MOTW – Esto o aquello

Guarda esta imagen y ponle X, circula, o añade una marca de cotejo al lado de tu selección y comparte con tus amigos. 

 

9.        ¿Cómo recargas?

Sea fatiga física, mental o emocional, cansarse es natural en algún punto. ¿Cómo TÚ recargas? ¿Llamas a un amigo, te vas a caminar, vas a surfear, meditas, duermes un rato, te pierdes en la tele, juegas videojuegos o algo más? Cuéntanos como TÚ recargas para seguir adelante. 

 

 

10.  Manías que dan manía

Como escritores, somos un grupo curioso y a veces, las cosas que nos molestan son comiquísimas. Comparte algunas de tus manías de escritor, sea sobre tu proceso de escribir, los libros que lees o la vida en general. 

 

11.  Lo máximo en marcadores

Otro tema recurrente que la gente ama compartir es su colección de marcadores. Así que muéstralos con orgullo. 

 

 

12.  Café Vs. Té

De las preguntas más antiguas y que me da muchísima gracia hacer. La pasión con la que la gente la contesta es otra cosa. Es algo glorioso. Así que cuéntanos, ¿cuál prefieres y por qué? 

 

13.  Ay ya yay con la IA

 

La Inteligencia Artificial es uno de los temas más discutidos, debatidos y sobreanalizado. Su impacto de 2023 hasta hoy se siente en toda industria y al parecer llegó para quedarse, sea para bien, para mal o para algún punto medio. Algunos han encontrado mucho éxito usándola. Otros la odian con pasión. En vez de preguntar algo en específico, este tema es para que compartas tu perspectiva sobre la IA en torno a tu carrera de escritor. A lo mínimo, hay MUCHAS opiniones así que como diría una colega de las letras, hablemos, sin medio y sin filtro, pero con respeto. 

 

14.  Estado de tu librero

 

¿Qué tal si compartes tu librero? De paso, cuéntanos ¿cómo organizas tu librero? ¿Qué es lo próximo que vas a leer? ¿Qué libros te quedarás por siempre? En fin, comparte la lógica (o la FALTA de lógica) de tu librero.

 

15.  ¿Qué dicen los lectores de ti?

La inseguridad es una maldita creativa que tantas veces nos roba la alegría. ESTE tema es para que compartas reseñas de tu trabajo o si tienes un street team, que le pidas a ellos que hagan un post o un video sobre lo que piensan de ti. Este post es para traer diálogo positivo a tu monólogo interno. Date en el pecho con orgullo, felicítate y di algo bueno de ti y lo que escribes. 

 

16.  Alerta escritores

Otro tema sumamente importante par que sea recurrente es de compartir las estafas y maneras en que tratan de robarnos nuestro dinero, nuestro tiempo, nuestras ideas y nuestra propiedad intelectual. Como escritores, somos bombardeados por estafas y está en nosotros velar los unos por los otros. Comparte consejos y advertencias.

17.  A nuestra salud

Hábitos saludables de escribir pueden ser en el aspecto físico o mental y hasta he participado en paneles basados en este tema ya que cómo nos aseguramos estar bien y saludables varía de persona en persona. Sin embargo, de todo se aprende y pequeños ajustes pueden hacer una gran diferencia. ¿Cuáles son algunas de tus prácticas para mantenerte bien de cuerpo, mente y alma?

 

 18.  Donde sucede la magia.

¿Tienes algún lugar en donde prefieres escribir? Tu escritorio, ¿te inspira a conquistar cada página? Muéstranos tu base secreta de operaciones de escribir.

 

19.  Emociones al escribir.

Mientras finalizaba los temas de la Marcha de los Escritores, estuve en el mecánico y habían cinco personas esperando en su mundo, desconectados y me fui de loco y atreví a dirigirme a todo y les pregunté, “si pudiesen preguntarle algo a un escritor, ¿qué le preguntarían?” De los cinco, 3 les simpatizó el que quebrara el silencio y aunque me dijeron algunas preguntas comunes, una me voló la cabeza. La idea es describir cómo se siente escribir. En las buenas, en las malas, cuando fluye, cuando está estancado, cuando consigues tu ritmo. Son TANTAS las maneras que se puede expresr que pues, ahora te toca a ti: ¿cómo se siente escribir?

 

20.  Antojitos para combustible

Los escritores necesitan energía. A veces es motivación, otras veces es una merienda. ¿Qué le da vida a tu cerebro?

 

21.  ADN de Escritor

Las influencias vienen de muchas maneras y eventualmente, nuestra identidad de escritor aparece. Ahora, el entender de dónde estamos escribiendo y qué es esencial a quienes somos como escritores es una buena manera para seguir puliendo tu voz como autor no importa lo que te brinde la vida. Así que comparte tu ADN. 

 

22.  Consiguiendo y manteniendo los BETA escritores

Conseguir beta lectores que no busquen estafarte el dinero puede ser un poco laborioso. ¿Cómo haces para conseguir beta escritores? ¿Cuáles son tus requerimientos? ¿Cuántos beta lectores es el número ideal? ¿Qué haces para agradecerle su ayuda?

 

23.  Resoluciones de escritores

Aunque las resoluciones a menudo NO duran, a veces llevan a grandes cambios. Estamos viviendo momentos de mucha incertidumbre Y cambio. Por mi parte, ando cambiando muchas cosas y cómo las hago y la pregunta es si estás en las mismas de cambiar cómo haces ciertas cosas y su por qué. 

 

24.  Mapa Mundial de Tus Lectores

Algo que siempre he apreciado de mis lectores, es cuán variados son y la bendición de poder conectar con gente de alrededor del mundo. Toma un mapa del mundo y apunta todos los países en donde te leen. Esto es para mostrarte que tu arte y tus escritos llegan más allá de lo que te imaginas. 

 

25.  Carrera de obstáculos

 

A veces se siente como si somos nosotros contra el mundo simplemente para escribir. Si tuvieses que hacer una carrera de obstáculos con todos los retos, ¿qué incluiría?

March of the Writers 2026!

Welcome one and welcome all to another set of prompts for March of the Writers. Like last year, we’re sharing the topics, so you have time to plan, prepare, process, think about, and probably procrastinate to leave things for the last moment lol. For those who don’t know, March of the Writers is a yearly tradition where we take 31 prompts for the 31 days of the month of March to connect with our readers. How you approach each topic is up to you and there are only two rules: Be respectful to others and have fun.

Want to make weekly entries with all the prompts for that week? Go for it. Want to make a daily video? Why not? Want to include topics in your podcast? I like the sound of that. This effort is absolutely ALL about the #YouDoYou ethos. The prompts are to serve as inspiration so by all means, enjoy yourself. That’s the biggest goal.

1.        Who is this is?

Who are you? What have you done? What WILL you do? Where do you live? Etc. This is your chance to introduce yourself so by all means, clean up nice and show people how much you rock.

 

2.        Genre-lly speaking

Some people love to explore a variety of genres while others LOVE their chosen path and want to push a specific genre as much as they can. What genre or genres do you write in and why those genres? What calls you to those?

 

3.        Cover stars

Never judge a book by its cover is one of the greatest fallacies of our times. Of COURSE people judge a book by its cover. For me, I’m immensely proud of my work and the collaborations I’ve been able to do with artists and this is a perfect opportunity to pimp out your artists.

 

4.        Where you are and where you’re going

Some people are so organized it’s scary. Others just flow nonchalantly across the cosmos and somehow things align. But often times we’re not aware of WHERE we are on our writer journey, be it because we’re busy staying afloat or because we don’t ask ourselves some important questions. Ask yourself, where are you, where are you going. No wrong answers and who knows? Maybe you know exactly where you are and maybe your readers will think you’re elsewhere and let you know you absolutely rock.

 

5.        Your Origins Story.

Inspiration is a curious thing though like Spider-Man, many writers know the exact moment they got bit by the writing bug. Share your origins story with us.

 

6.        Writing Tribe

March of the Writers has a couple of recurring topics and although writing is a solitary discipline, we have support and connect with so many people. Tell us some of the people in your tribe and bonus points if you share pics or vids with your writing besties.

Music soothes the savage beast though for me, it’s also essential to my writing. For years, I’ve been compiling a writing playlist with music from all genres so people can either follow the playlist, browse it, or listen to it in its entirety. Rather than ask a specific question, this prompt is for you to share your perspective on AI in regard to your writer journey. At the very least, we all have plenty of thoughts so here’s to chatting it up.

Self-doubt is such a bastard and robs us of joy so often. Healthy writing habits can be mental or physical and I’ve even had a panel based on this sole topic because how we make sure we are OK and stay healthy varies from person to person. While drafting prompts for March of the Writers, I was at the mechanic and had five people sitting nearby and I asked them, if they could ask a writer anything, what would they ask. They had some typical questions, but this one blew me away. The idea is to describe how writing feels. When it’s flowing, when it’s not flowing, and when you find your rhythm and strike gold. LOVE that we can all express this in so many ways, so show us: what does writing feel like?
