Honey
Honey whispers, slow and sweetly,
Amber tides, flavored neatly.
Honey slides and flavor swing,
For in a cuppa, tannins sing.
A steep steeping, until flavors meet.
Then smooth and wonderful,
Like gentlest sleep.
Honey sings and taste buds listen,
With each sip of tea,
Until empty.
The cup does glisten.
